GA Gives Day

Each year bigger than the last, we're building a giving movement in Georgia Gives Day, powering community nonprofits statewide. Join us in making our fourth Georgia Gives Day on November 12, 2015 the biggest day of giving in our state's history.

Houston County Habitat for Humanity has BIG goals this year. They are so big, we can't do it alone! Our success depends on YOU.

The GA Gives Day campaign is already under way and donations are being accepted now! Be the first to give today and help our campaign get off to a great start! Please spread the news! Although GA Gives is an initiative throughout the state, you do not have to live in Georgia to participate! Whether you have $10 or $100 to give, it all adds up!

We invite you to become a fundraiser for us on GAgivesday.org. It's an easy and fun way to show your family and friends how much you love HoCo Habitat, and inspire others to donate to our cause.

All you have to do is go to our profile https://www.gagivesday.org/c/GGD/a/hocohabitat and click the "Become a Fundraiser" button on our page. You will create your own profile and be recognized as a fundraiser right on our page.

Help us win the #GAgivesday #unselfie competition and earn HoCo Habitat $500 in your name!

1. Between now and Nov. 2, ask your friends, classmates, family and colleagues to take a selfie that shows why they give to HoCo Habitat for Humanity.
2. Then, ask them to post it to their Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, and tag it #unselfie and #GAgivesday and #hocohabitat. (GA Gives Day will also be sharing them from their accounts Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).
3. Again, tag us on social media. Our accounts are: Twitter: @hocohabitat

4. The week of Nov. 9, GA Gives will share their top finalists on GA Gives Facebook page, counting on followers to vote for their favorite with a "like." The top three vote-getters will receive a donation to the participating organization of their choice in their name: $500 for 1st place, and $100 each for 2nd and 3rd.
